Can we start without a technical specification?
Yes. Tell us what the company does, who your customers are and why you need a website. We help define scope and priorities; a finished specification is not required for the first conversation.
How do you estimate cost and timing?
We first discuss the task, source material and constraints. Then we agree on scope, stages, an estimate and the approval process. If the scope changes, we discuss the effect on budget and schedule before proceeding.
What do we need to prepare?
Start by telling us about the company, its customers and the website’s goals. A list of services or products, examples, a logo and existing content are useful. Together we identify missing material and agree who is responsible for it.
Can we keep the old website address and content?
Yes, if they suit the new version. Before migration, we check the structure, content and page addresses. Changed addresses will need redirects so visitors do not end up on removed pages.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
If you need to change text, news or catalogue entries regularly, we include content management in the project. We agree which sections should be editable and show you how to work with them.
Can the website connect to a CRM or other services?
We discuss the connections at the start: what data should be sent, where and when. Integration depends on the systems, their APIs and access permissions. Complex data exchanges are estimated separately.
What happens after launch?
We hand over the agreed materials and access, and explain how to use the website. If support or further development is needed, we separately agree on tasks, the request process and service terms.
